Nissan is adding the Murano to its range of the blacked-out Midnight Edition cars for the 2022 model year. It also offers on the Altima, among other nameplates, the appearance package bundles a small number of black exterior accents which give the crossover a more sinister look.

The Midnight Edition box does bring a black grille, black exterior trim pieces, black roof rails, and 20-inch wheels that are finished in. Also, the package does include illuminated sill plates. There is a “Midnight Edition” emblem on the hatch. The Magnetic Black Pearl paint is available. Though the buyers can also select Pearl White. Nissan does charge $395. Pictured is a Boulder Gray Pearl.
The SV model is, in fact, eligible to receive the Midnight Edition treatment. Nissan does add leatherette upholstery and heated front seats to the model’s list of standard features for 2022. There are no mechanical changes to report. That means the power does come from a 3.5-liter V6 rated at 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. The front-wheel-drive and an ongoing variable transmission (CVT) thus continue to come standard.
Nissan also released pricing information for other variants of the 2022 Murano. The base S model is starting at $34,085. The SV costs $37,625. The SL is priced at $41,585. The range-topping Platinum is going to set you back $45,635. In fact, these figures do represent small increases thus compares to 2021. Last year the S cost $33,985 while Platinum’s price was set at $45,535. All of these numbers do include a $1,175 destination charge. Moreover, they are to correspond to a front-wheel-drive Murano. All-wheel-drive is a $1,700 option across the board.
Pegged at $1,395 is pricing for the Midnight Edition package. Also, you will need at least $39,020 to park one in your garage.
